Yeah i have been waiting for this. I always played starwars: Galactic battlegrounds when that was popular. I miss westwood and despise EA for buying them out, I hope they use their famus live-action cut-scene style.

Demo is interesting. Pretty much standard stuff for a RTS. The cinematic option is kinda cool. Just played the whole demo - pretty short but does give you a taste of what it's going to be like. Graphics are pretty nice - nothing spectacular, but nice. Would have to see the rest of the game for a decent test drive, but from the demo I'd give it 3-4 stars out of 5.

For anyone still playing around with the EAW demo - there are a fair amount of hacks now.

GC II ruined the groundbreaking concepts of the first game (ie, NO RESOURCES!). The Terran missions were kinda cool, but once it came to Viron missions it went downhill fast.

Haven't played EaW yet (cba to download it ) but been on my list for a while. Supremacy had a LOT to get a handle on before you actually knew what the hell you were doing, but once you did the game got a lot more enjoyable.

i was really disappointed by the demo. I was hoping for something more along the lines of Rise of Nations with both space and ground and you had to do resourse collections and city buidling. but this is something completely different... its like Command and Conqure minus the resources and some city building. plus the thing where you can only have 10 groups of troops on the ground at anytime is really annoying.

if anything i would have to compare this game closer to Imperium Galactium II, which i really enjoyed but it has a different feel and is more fun that SW: EAW.
