If they are smart the will sell emotes to play at the enemies you just killed as they wait for the respawn timer to end.

Sadly I got no response when I tweeted about buying a /GrabCrotch emote for the new killcam screen.

I'm actually for having the kill cam for the fun factor and filling in the respawn time with something cool. I like the OPs suggestions.

The kind of killcam that i would like in PS2 would a bit of a hybrid of informative and "cool". When you died you get an effect that would look and feel like your soldiers "consciousness" was quickly downloaded into digital format and you would get a vague "wireframe" rendition of your death with some basic info of your killer.

Basically shows a wireframe of your killer shooting etc (no background) and then your death.

Something like this (just in 3rd person tho) () :P

This is completely agree with. The rest I am impartial too.

Or rag dolling as a tank round or grenade detonates under your legs.

My .02 cents.....

If they end up implementing any sort of killcam is needs to be SHORT and sweet, or none at all. It should show you just enough to give you the general GIST of how you died, but not enough to show every last detail of your killer. And it should ABSOLUTELY NOT show events AFTER your death, to prevent people from reporting the killers every move while you wait to respawn. It should only show the few critical second(s) up to your death, and that's about it, if anything.
Actually I support this idea... in the words of Wicked Shrapnel (a Machinima author), the Dark Corner McDougal Cam will help mitigate Dark Corner McDougals and Camper McCamperpants.

I probably played 120 hours of Fallout over a few playthroughs, and I never once got tired of the VATS killcam.

YES PLEASE for Planetside 2.

(For the record, I know what the devs are planning, but it would be easy enough to overlay some stats on a slow-motion replay of your death).

I think that killcam would only suit the TR. NC commanders aren't such stiff Nazis.

Just saw this in a new Far Cry 3 multiplayer video that shows a kill cam. Only part I guess I like is the way it shows the bullet trails and where it hit you.
