On a high-end machine you'll be able to take some amazing screenshots and video, while older computers will be able to ratchet down the water settings to enjoy a smooth frame rate as well. |

I always thought it was pretty realistic in PS1 that you sank to the bottom. No one should be able to swim in heavy armor(besides Infiltrators). That said, a water-breathing apparatus would be an awesome option for amphibious assaults. Hell, there could even be underwater options for guns, allowing for battles done completely underneath the surface of the water.
I can see it now, an epic bridge battle is occuring between the TR and the NC. The TR decide that this is turning into a stalemate. They call upon one of the outfits, an outfit known for it's amphibious specialty. All members have options selected to breath underwater, guns that can be used underwater and special gear that allows them to move underwater easier. They are directed to go underneath the bridge and make a raid upon the NC's AV assets, a few Vanguards and Pheonix equiped soldiers keeping the TRs tanks from crossing. They head into the river. The NC however have premptiely prepared for a strike from the water and have their own amphibious team in the water. The 2 forces meet and a underwater battle heated battle rages. Bubbles begin to surface on the water of the river, and the bodies quickly follow. Soon, neither bubbles nor bodies come up and it is clear one side stands the victor. A NC Engineer surfaces on the NC side, but is quickly cut down as a mixed force of MAXes and other classes come up behind him. They quickly destroy NC nearest to them and quickly find their targest, cutting down the Pheonix Soldiers quickly than focusing on the Vanguards. They are however severely outnumbered, and just as they destroy the final Vanguard, the last of the brave amphibous soldiers die to an Engineers turret. But it was already too late for the NC. Prowlers were moving forward and it was clear Vanguard reinforcements would not be here quickly enough. The last of the NC resistance is quickly destroyed, the bridge secure thanks to the outfit specialized in assault from the water. I hope that's an option.

It would be amazing to have identified a defended target which has AA, tanks and foot soldiers... So an outfit arranges an amphibious attack to take out the AA, calls in a strike to take out the tanks, and then footzergs it over a bridge to clean up the troops. |

I actually had fun fighting in the water. Had to watch for bolt driver shots and only blades worked in water. I was hopeing you could deploy boomers underwater.
But yeah I can think of mabey 3 types of bases for literoal, oceanic combat. Dock which is the land based naval facility, Platform (AKA oil rig) which is the open water base, and a submerged ocean floor facility. |

If I remember correctly we will "float" on the water.
