First person hands steering in vehicles

Wasnt this feature in PS1? I can remember driving ANTs and having nothing better to do than to watch my hands on the steering wheel. Or maybe I'm remembering false memories.

Oh god, please help me! What else have I falsely remembered!?

I'm pretty sure that some vehicles in PS1 had animated hands on steering wheels.

Would love to see this again.
