TV commercials are a waste of advertising money for games. More than half of US households have a DVR and most of the target demographic does, so they zip or zap them or don't watch TV that has commercials or don't watch much TV at all.

thats an oppinion. and a wrong one at that.

all the top games advertise on TV. lets name a few:

WoW
Halo
CoD
BF
Diablo

and that list could be a lot longer but you get the point.

TV advertisements are the only ads I ever see. I ignore ads online (which they have already taken advantage of) and any other form of worthy advertising besides word of mouth, twitter, facebook, ect has been taken care of.

But im sure your right and all these huge gaming companies are advertising on TV for no reason. I mean gamers dont watch G4, do they? hahaha

Show some awesome footage, then make it clear that they can go to Planetside2.com and Play the Game for Free!

very true xyntech. if you want to reach a massive amount of people tv advertising is your best choice. and when people see that the game is free they are going to go crazy!
