NC Music sound like an 80s tv soundtrack

Reminded me of the Terran music from SC2 or Firefly.

After listening to it some more I think the NC Theme and travel music is great, I don't particularly like the combat music. Start at NC theme and listen to it from there, some good emotion and themes there once it gets to be a bit more blues-y. Not big on the combat music, but maybe the style itself just grows on you.

It'll definitely sound a lot better with real guitars. I think should hold off judgment until then.

I happen to love snyth and guitar ... but unfortunately I'm not digging the NC theme music. Agreed that the TR is pretty good and the VS is ok. Personally, I'd prefer any 80's theme music to the NC right now though. But hey, I like punk/new wave/electronica/industrial, etc. music anyway. Now if only the NC had something that sounded good. A good orchestra will not save this music.

If this is the music used (even if performed orchesterally) I'll just set music to zero whenever I log into an NC character. Sadly, I never mute music in games, but this just needs to be scrapped entirely and a new artist create something completely new from ground zero. That's just my $0.02.

This is equivalent of a playable PS2 client being leaked last August (hypothetically) and people yelling "WTF? The textures are horrible! The game looks like shit! Where's all the guns?!"

The combat music might benefit from a little more punk influence.

The NC soundtrack is my favorite actually but the VS one is good as well. The TR one is good too I guess but its a bit too too epic/serious, lol.
