The actual reason is the TR don't wear there after hours clothes in battle. The VS look like they just stepped out of the Blue Oyster Bar with their purple thongs and disco ball dispenser (aka the lasher). The NC look like they just left a bar starring a Curt Cobain tribute band and are permanently stuck in the early 90s.
