Probably the OP still played 5 minutes before he posted. Seems to be some kind of rage quit. However taking a break isnt a bad idea. In its current state the game fosters rage on high level.

I uninstalled, I didn't quit. I merely drew a line in the sand. I'll quit PS2 if SOE doesn't deliver on their promise of a good solid PlanetSide game.

Indeed it does, although I do have fun at times.

I suppose what this is is me telling SOE that adding more guns to the cash shop is not going to keep me here spending money on PS2. I've spent plenty of money on PS2, but that isn't what this is about. This is about spending time on PS2 and frankly, I'm not sure it is worth it right now.

So we shall see how much time is left on my Alpha Squad boost when I log in again.

Personally, if I reached the point of "I can't play this anymore" I'd just stop playing and move on, of course that's assuming I believe there is hope. If I reached a point of "Fuck this game" I suppose your route has merit. You imply hope while pissing on it.

But you're not telling SOE, you're telling us. Your post would probably have a greater impact if you mailed it to Smedley or Higby.

Well, to be fair, PSU is frequented by SOE enough that they will see it. I suppose that isn't really fair to the community though.
