Re: Recent influx of hackers

It seems there was a recent wave of account bans that forced many hackers to start over with a new account. Maybe, while they may have had the patience to hide their hacking with a high-level toon, when they start fresh they blatantly rampage, hoping to level up quickly.

Is there no way to stop this? It takes a CSR way too long to find them, and even then, they are difficult to find :\

This kind of activity kills my mood and my fun when playing the game.
The hacks that are not blatant are rampant. I have noticed it allot on my server [MIller] You see ESF Pilots sniping you with rocket pods from such a distance where you will not even render as infantry.

Leroy who is B100 is blatant for this. Yet he wont get banned purely because if a GM was watching they would have absolutely no idea.

Sadly this is getting more apparent and SOE simply cannot do anything about it.

He cant snipe you outside of render distance.....

Even if he had hacks that track you he wouldnt do damage anyway.

Your right yes. I'm talking about the actual render distance to where you can physically see someone. Is much shorter when your flying.

In non heavy contested areas. Everyone renders. But yet he still rocket pods people from a distance outside of NV and being able to see them.

That's where the Red names and Boxes come into play that Sardus is talking about. Which put's a Box around all enemy players. So if your flying you can farm like no business at a safe distance.

No not on Waterson.

I have been seeing a few GM annti-hacker broadcasts though, and it's not like EVERYONE knows they don't do those constantly. They only do them when they have a reason...

Most of the questionable aim guys were removed a long time ago on Waterson. There's been a ton of the anti-grav hackers on Waterson, but I haven't seen any aimbots recently.

There was one on Waterson a few weeks back, VS infil by the name of PinkiePiee. What basically happened was he 3-shotted me (as a flying LA) with a Beamer. From below. Nice headshots there innit. And later he took out his sniper rifle and started getting two-shot rapid fire kills. But as soon as I got back into my sundy and started using my M20 on him, he couldn't handle me worth crap. Wasn't even smart enough to dodge or hide.

Reported, never saw again. Av deleted, user lives on, who knows where he might be hacking next.

most public hacks are detected and dealt with very fast. but vip hacks are another thing.these are very hard to spot, and most havn't a clue its even happening. esp/gps/radar , no spread, recoil, movement speed set to 5% so on and so forth. some of these players even after being ban have even convinced soe devs they were legit and were unban.

http://www.planetside-universe.com/c...8039148401.php
http://www.planetside-universe.com/c...3433385441.php
http://www.planetside-universe.com/c...6968545617.php

these players were reported 100s of times ,then finally were ban only to be unban after crying to soe devs ,and customer service. dose this mean they are legit players, and they were ban wrongfully?NO...... it means soe staff are human and they make mistakes. after these players had their accounts reinstated i made it my mission in life to have those players ban again. and they were, and if you play on connery you have never seen those names since.

the problem with vip hacks is most cant spot them. most dont have enough play time in games where hackers were a prominent problem. i have played f2p games before, and i have had more hackers ban than most have ever seen, and my bs detector is pretty fing flawless...

my reports re guarding these players gave specific instructions to the devs on how and when to catch these scrubs.my point is, even the devs have problems spotting these players and with out our help they will continue to hack in game unless we do something about it.

i dont care if EVERYONE AND YOUR FING MOTHER SAYS YOUR LEGIT,EVEN IF YOU WERE BAN THEN UN BAN BY SOE AND THEY SAY YOUR LEGIT, if you trip my bs detector im going to make it my mission in life to see you ban.

If true, then Do Want. However, as I once suggested on the official forums, and once here, we bloody well NEED FEEDBACK from SOE if our calls were right or wrong. And I mean easily accessible feedback.

Think about this for a moment. If you ever made a report where you weren't more than 90% sure you were right, wouldn't it be great for you to be able to improve your knowledge of hacks and ability to detect hacks by being told if you were wrong or not?

i would never make a report against someone if i wasn't sure, and i always check the players stats on psu and ps official stats.

and im always improving my knowledge on hacks and hackers.

read up on their forums, keep up with their hacks and updates..... KNOW YOUR ENEMY...

lol funny story i was on this site snooping about and thought i would see if any of their forum users were stupid enough to use their forums names in game. lmao there were quite a few...... i reported them ALL....

see this is one thing they can do, and i did it just for the lolz. go to all the hack sites, check the forums, goto user names , then cross reference, observe and ban. simple.... cheep trick to thin out hackers. this one is on the house SOE

if any of you even think about questioning my motives for being on these sites then report me. the devs know how many hackers i report and from my reports they know how i feel about them.

being oblivious to the problem helps no one.
i wasn't sure if i was allowed to post it, but i didn't read anything saying i couldn't, so i did.

i see so many people on here that are just clueless ." i have only seen 1 hacker since launch".
educate yourself ,be apart of the solution, not the problem.

On my kill board, some of the users that Killed me most of the times, no longer exists.
I really don´t think that some people really delete BR-90 characters, I am only impressed that the reached that BR without getting banned!

Wait... why'd you be trying to block the links to hax sites? People who want them will find them anyways, there's always those desperate enough to resort to cheating.

Now, I will personally go around that forum, watch all the videos, and see what some of the most current hacks look like so I'll be prepared. Thank you RumblePit.
(I think hackers ruin the game, and anything achieved with skill and luck (DH Rocket launch OHK!) feels better than anything an Aimbot could ever do)

PS: First world Hacker problems: Why doesn't my teleport hack have an Aimbot come with it!?
