Also from that page: Until June 1st you can sub with a 3-month membership at the 12-month rate. That's actually a pretty good deal, because you'll keep that rate as long as you let it auto-renew. haven´t played very often but since beta. and i played 2 days ago, so i don´t think it is related to inactivity.

i hope most players get those! they look cool, and they help with identifying friend or foe because of the much blue/purple/red.

I got it and I have never subscribed or alpha squadded. However, I am a PS1 vet (markov vet too), a PS2 beta vet, and I created my character the first day PlanetSide 2 was officially released.

i think its any account who created their character so long ago.
