1,000/170=5.88

You still have 20 rounds in total anyway. If you can aim, landing the 15% to 30% of your shots in a dual mag is very doable with a COF of .3. Having a 2 second reload isn't that bad either seeing how NC MAX AI weapons need 3-4.3 seconds.

Fractures are not suppose to be a high damage weapon anyway. They are a LONG RANGE weapon. They do very well against vehicles in my opinion. They may say just 315 direct, but what resistance do they use and what multiplier does that resistance have on what vehicles? Fractures are a pain in the ass to fight against. Get a Frac MAX with lockdown at range and have a user that can aim and it will take out a sunderer before its owners have time to get enough repairmen on it to counter the damage stream. Iv seen that happen many times, after the nerf. On my sunderers as well that I don't leave alone.

All of that doesn't change that Fractures are a better version of a dual slugged NC MAX. 2,000 certs for Fractures, 3,300 certs for dual extended slug MAX. 1,800 certs if you want to use Grinders that have the worst COF and reloads.

Some times I need an entire mag dump or 2 to get an infantry kill with Ravens. You don't see me bitching about that do you?

Get in the game.
Go to the training room.
Shot some infantry, count the hits.

Because Vortex's are the long range versions of the comets? Comet's are just strong, very very very strong.

Just out of interest, what role is Vortex supposed to play then? I mean the performance is (now) similar as Fracture, they were introduced in same patch along with Ravens... i've always thought Comet belonged on same 'group' with Pounder and Falcon..

Well, when ZOE was broken, My liberator was shot down by Vortex all the time.

I do think that Vortex is more a close range AV weapon to the VS, because they already had the best long range one, it is clear that the comet is better at long range then Pounder and Falcon, so they placed a close range AV weapon the the VS.
The point is, only Comet, Falcon, Raven and Pounder are killing infantry, that must be fixed. Raven killing much more then the other 3.

I see comets kill more infantry than I've ever seen ravens kill on a daily basis. Even still it's not some huge glaring issue 'anything' in enough numbers is going to annoy 'anyone'.

On hack panel of a tower, with more 2 TR maxes, all on deploy and some engineer repairing us.
Grenades set to bounce.
We hold the line against 50+ players trying to get to the hack panel of that tower, it was a glorious night, too bad someone had the idea to hotdrop on the top of the tower and spoil the fun.
