I have to agree, , also this is sorta related and won't get answered in my other post so here is a few questions I have: (Sorry for the length)
"Ok, I know you can use those orbital drop pods (or whateverthey're called) to land anywhere, as long as it is outside of a enemy base's sphere of influence but can you bail? I know you can bail on the transports and stuff. Now when you are in free fall (assuming you can bail), before your kinetic dampeners (kds) kick in, can you control your fall, or do you drop like a frikkin rock straight down? How high do your kds kick in? The point is, what is to stop me from preforming a HALO jump all day long. Spawn and use the droppod, drop just outside of a soi, bail at high alt. and then control my body to land inside an enemy base? Also, I know someone else asked this, but I can't find the thread - What is maximum altitude? Is there a ceiling? If so, apx how high is it 10,000 feet (not that high), or even higher?" THanks a LOT

Yes it would make sense that they could land there. However, it doesn't make sense balance wise because if you hack the enemy base then a minute later every single person that was defending will be there again and you'll be screwed.

Well if that's the case I still think the sphere of influence should go down when the base is rendered useless. If the team gets their base back then it's all good at the sphere comes back up but as long as it's down there should be a window where it's vulernable to more attacks.

Or a window for defense. I think this is good. Because then bases could easily become captured. ie. cloaked hacker hacks the base, then the atatck force wipes the defense out. The base is basically captured within a very short amount of time.

Stupid elephants. They follow me everywhere I go.
I'd like to see the attackers get a bit of an advantage in reinforcements if they manage to challenge and take the base. The defenders get a bit of an advantage up untill that point.
