I only loot if I need a REK (almost everyone has one, wich saves me on inventory space
 ), more ammo (hasn't happened since I got my melee booster, 100% knife kills), or if I kill a NC person. I always check the NCs for any spare MAG-Scatter pistols. I really love those guns.

I loot for medkits mostly and occasionally ammo (although noone ever seems to have special assault ammo on them.) Sure you take the risk of getting shot in back by a stealther, but when you have 2hps, no armor and 20something bullets they're almost doing you a favor.
