If that's the case and they make them from a 3rdPV maybe I'll get lucky there will be a way to disable them if they do put them in.

I'd rather they just do them right tho.

Shit... even if it just showed you the start of the animation and then faded to black.

There has to be something more than simply disappearing!

Bumping

Highlights of the thread.

- B/E Animations are still in high demand, just that demand is somewhat willing to wait a bit.
- B/E delay times at launch is a huge request from 80%+ of people that posted in this thread about it.
- B/E positioning is important to many posters still.
- The love for PS2 is great within these halls.
- First Person animations requested.

Just thought I would bump this thread because it's the only issue I'm really worried about for the game.

Animations or not (animations would be better though), please please please just make a delay on entry/exit and in switching between positions in the same vehicle.

Because it's important for balancing vehicle gameplay.

If the DEVS and the DESIGN team want to add them just do it in a patch later in the life of the game......

Im sure we can all deal with not having them on launch.

Wow, that's a one sided poll if I've ever seen one.

Looks like everyone here can agree on something.

Totally. B/E animations were one of the things that when I first saw in PS1 made my jaw hit the desk.

Switching them over to first person view style would be really sweet, but since Higby and others have been super upfront about it delaying launch it's come more of a question for us do we want the steak now with all the seasonings or do we wait for the sauce to add the finishing touches?

Rather get to the meat of the game now than wait another 6 months for the toppings.
