As far as I can tell you're in the same boat as the rest of the non-vets with keys. Someone might try to tell you're behind the PCGamer keys, but no ones been able to give me proof yet. *a tweet from before Twitter keys were known about or existed DOESN'T count*

Actually if you read the message here, it's more like:

Internal beta > Testing how the game works on different computer setups (a form of technical rather than gameplay testing) & Server setup/maint/optimisation (some of us) > external beta(us)

Similar implications about the time it will take, for the technical test at least, but actual gameplay-based testing won't be for a while yet.

This, exactly. I woud put money on the 'priority keys' from twitter being the exact same 'priority keys' from the magazine. I don't thionk a lot of people understand right now that the twitter keys say "Congratulations: Priority Beta Access", and I'd be willing to bet that the only reason we aren't confirmed to be in the same boat is to keep everyone guessing to give hem more freedom during selection, instead of having to actually abide by anyone's entitlement tiers (and tears ). I've been replied to for VARIOUS posts on twitter, and yet the question I ask that they never even acknowledge is whether we're in the same boat, and I bet they've been told not to. We'll see I suppose.

I got a 'Recruit Debrief' email from the PS2 team which asked for my comp specs. I think it's a generalized email for those signed up for beta.

I'm guessing now it will be a long wait, but I'm pessimistic about games these days in general

Not what I was hoping for, I thought the hints from certain people were rather misleading. But fuck it, such is life. I have Tribes Ascend to keep me amused until I get into beta anyway. I suppose I could go off and dribble over Shootmania as well.
