Insane...
just... wow.

I dont like how you have to go through such a pain to make desktop items, but its interesting.
It'll take some getting usted to, but if I stick to it, I might love it.

And it is fully configurable, that clock on the right side is a functional plugin embedded in the desktop. There are side menus that are super nice.

The best part is, I dont need icons and dont use the clunky Start menus for most anything, I load programs out of menus that hide on the sides (kinda like Quick Launch, but more organized)...

It is shareware though, but you get 30 days to decide you can't live without it :P

So wait that constantly uses ram ?

Edit: And there is an easy way to delete the program and get back the old thing for Windows right?

Press print screen, open Paint or any image editing program and paste it then save it as a .jpg and upload to a FTP.

Your saying that there shouldn't be a thread then you post in it? If you don't like the desktop threads start ignoring them. Plus you learn of really cool desktop programs like the 3d desktop program in the old desktop thread and the Aston program on this one.

All you people who are worried about stylexp, don't. Right now its using only 13 MB of memory on my computer. In comparison windows uses about 200 MB just by itself.

There is a shell swapper that you can use to switch between Aston and Explorer. It takes about a minute.

Currently the Aston shell is using 7 MB of memory on my computer. The explorer(default) shell was using about 15 MB when I switched to it
