I personaly liek the NC mech it's sym, etrical for the mostpar, and has that cool Bushwacker look. the BW was my fav mech evar, no JJ's but at 50ish tons it carried alot of armor, and a big punch, including the Bigest gub in thte game the UAC20 mwhahaha!

i am currently not playing PS anymore
the main reason was nothing new is added and it just got to boring and same ol for me so i quited
but i know i will have go at it when these things are live
whatever year that will be something like 2006 my guess

anyway i assume these things will have a serious limit on empire
or are they going to allow a 20 BFR squad to storm a base
which brings up the question how big are they i assume you will stick out a bit above the base walls !!

Do these thtings have names yet?

anywho, NC does look like the child of a Bushwacker and a Champion from MW3. what the hell are those wings for?!? the VS is more like Anime than the TR was Supposed to be. TR looks the best, accually looks like a Walking tank, not a human robot, or whatever the hell the nc is.

The one-man version can fly. You may also notice what looks like little wings on the cockpit of the NC mech.

I highly doubt those wings have anything to do with actual aerodynamics of the BFRs when in flight. They probably use the tried-and-true jumpjet by force system in Battletech.

they are probably gonna stick to the PS flight system. you know VTOL and all that. So the wings are useless. maybe thats where the heavy weapons are mounted?

Yeah, reading the scan from the CGW magazine, and it seems you're right. The magazine said "yank out the gunner seat and you've got a nimble fighter", which is what I remembered. The part after it though -- "with jump jets" -- is what I didn't remember. So yeah, apparently the one-man version will have jump jets, and the two man version won't, but it'll have heavier firepower.

Also, obviously it has nothing to do with aerodynamics. Nothing in PS is even close to aerodynamic.

These BFR's might actually be a reason to start up PS again.

I dont know about U guys that quit PS, its still as great as it was da 2nd month after release 2 me.

Anyway, I allways trusted the devs 2 come thro (besides overdue balance of empires)
on new content. And guys, its nice 2 discuss the BFRs but dont be saying bad things bout them untill they get in public test.

BTW, NC got nerfed with theyre BFR model!! you lil sh1ters! LOL JK
