Look at that open part in the middle of the wall. Is that incomplete or is it an opening through which only jump jetters can get through?
I think it's an opening for jump jetters. They are doing it. They are fucking getting this game RIGHT. So much of a games balance comes down to level design and making sure that every class or style of play has a chance to be effective. I've said it before and I'll keep saying it: Light Assault needs places to jump up onto and into. Infiltrators need out of the way paths to sneak around in. Snipers need concealed positions with good lines of sight. Engineers need solid defensive positions to build set up their equipment. Every class must be carefully taken into consideration when crafting a layout where they are intended to be used. It doesn't mean they can't be used in other ways, locations or situations, but if the game is to be balanced, the maps must be balanced. Way to go devs. I had a lot of faith in you, but this seals the deal. This is a huge improvement over Planetside like I can't even begin to describe. Some of the changes from PS1 to PS2 are questionable (soloable MBT's for example). Others are are meh, take it or leave it. Some of the changes are pretty cool... But this change is critical. This is already going to put PS2 head and shoulders above what PS1 ever achieved. Edit: Then again, this could all just be wild speculation on my part. It looks damn promising though. Reavers have a nostalgic value for me, as i've spent probably 90% of my time in PS1 flying in one. The only difference - i was playing TR. Now i have to reroll NC, and it makes me sad a little. |

True it probably won't ruin the gameplay but I do think it can have a negative effect in the sense that you probably will see a lot more people going Rambo with their tank since they still control the big gun. I think controlling a vehicle of that magnitude which tanks at least in PS are should require a team effort.

Instead of 20 tanks we may see 30 or 40. That is something new and it may turn out to be a good thing. It's been debated to death of course and it really comes down to the devs doing what they think is best and us waiting until beta to see how it actually plays out. |

xXGumpXX here . Werner NC CR5 . im not likeing the new look of the NC characters as i think they look gay , the reaver and vangaurd look awesome and so does the new Gauss rifle . i wan't to stay NC but i think i will decide on which empire i play once i have tested all 3 empires in basic training to see which weapons i can get on with the best . I more than likely stay NC but come on , even some you have to admit that the NC do look gay

Man, that vanny looks like a beast! I hope they add in more than 3 transportation citations, cos the front of it is definetely not pedestrian friendly.
