True but they dont have tanks like PS1, these are the awful boring BF style tanks aka lightnings. You have to gun and move at the same time. Your driving will suck compared to PS1 and your accuracy while moving will suffer alot too due to doing two things at once. There will be much less movement and far more sitting and shooting than in PS1. One man vehicles are just lame and no where near the epic feel of packs of tanks each with its own crew who each is focused on just gunning or just driving. These overgrown max suits masquerading as tanks just feel cheap and uninteresting.

But again as far as balance its hard to know squat til we know actual numbers, cant go off of what they say because the tiny details in the words they use can be misleading to that actual reality of each tank.

Waiting for the return of the superior, real PS style teamwork oriented vehicles with drivers not gunning, and in fixed vehicle slots so we can once again have real, epic, vehicle battles where the tanks actually move in combat rather than a silly 1700's era line up and shoot.

This whole thread's fucking ridiculous considering we've no idea how things are going to be balanced in PS2, but I thought I'd comment anyway, as a TR with a grudge.

The problem with the above is that the TR were required to be more accurate, for longer. This was a problem with tank combat, but it was more of an issue with the MCG to be honest, because bloom made accuracy so much more difficult to maintain. The TR ended up with low damage weapons requiring high accuracy, in indoor battles which were dominated by choke points and camping - and once you add the problems caused by hit detection and lag I think this meant they were at a significent disadvantage, especially against the NC.

But frankly, who gives a fuck? We're talking about PS2 now, and we've not even reached beta.
