UK PC Gamer Beta Keys issue 241

Sorry I misinterpreted the question as being about digital subscribers, rather than people buying a single copy of the magazine.

The irony is that PCGamer UK did an issue with PlanetSide 2 on the cover a while back but it didn't have the beta key in it.

This month's issue has barely anything on PlanetSide 2 in it, so it would be more appropriate to get that back-issue signed.

Is the signing issues that get posted to the dev's HQ still a thing? I wonder how much postage costs from the UK...

Sending to USA for a magazine will be around £4 it is managing to get a prepaid envelope for the returned leg that stopped me getting them signed.

Does anyone know if this issue will be available anywhere outside the UK? (specifficly in Holland) i still need to get myself a key badly.

If i can't get an issue i hope someone can do the whole paypal me buying a key from them in the UK that would be much appreciated.

I think some one said the the ukpcgamer does get to holland

I just went into town and my hopes got squashed. Didn't find any store that sells UK PC Gamer, maybe some bigger city's in holland have it, but i cba to check. I did tho find this site :

It seems they sell PC Gamer Uk issues and ship them in europe for 6.99 GBP. Only problem is they only take credit cards wich i don't have . I guess i'll have to find a friend that does.

Now to go back through the thread and see if it's the July or June issue I want.

I recall someone saying "nr 241", but that's a bit hard to read on that site

Yeah, I think I saw PC games UK magazines in Holland here a few times. I will look for them when the magazine is released.

I went out and bought a copy of PCG the other day..then realised it was 240. I now own 3 copies of Company of Heroes and no beta keys. Ho hum, one month to wait instead.

Anyone know the usual publishing date for each issue of PCG?

One thing that does concern me though; PCG is an 'open' mag: there's no sellophane cover or anything. If I were a less than scrupilous individual, I could go into my local Tescos, take a photo of the giftageddon page of each copy on the shelf and walk out without buying a thing. If I were to buy a copy of PCG and found that the key had already been used because of such a thing, would I be able to contact SoE or PCG and request a new one, or am I just outta luck?

I'll quite happily pick up a few extra copies when it comes out next month if people want, not bothered about a commission so £6 paypal'd would do the trick.

Where abouts did you check? I think I've seen UK magazines like PC gamer in 'tobacco shops' in the past, but I do not know for certain nor do I know if they would still be selling the mag. I'm living near Amsterdam so I could visit a few shops tomorrow. I will post here tomorrow if I find anything or not.

Added: found nothing today. Went to some local shops (found nothing), I've tried Bruna (no Bruna in Holland sells it) and I've tried contacting Ako, but it seems they have a wrong phone number on their web page so that failed as well.

PCG 241 is in the shops now and has the keys. Anyone who isn't in the UK and wants a copy, drop me a PM and I'll see if i can get my mitts on one. Price will be just the price of the mag, possibly with a little extra for fuel.

So if I get a digital copy of pc gamer uk I will get a key? Just want to make sure before I subscribe on my iPod .

Not sure if it holds true over in the UK, but in the US- the digital copies of PCG did not have the beta key.

I'm pretty sure subscribers and purchasers of the newsstand copy get a key. Also, it was cellophane wrapped when I bought it, so I'm surprised it's not over there.
