All kidding aside, i agree: a game's soundtrack needs to ROCK!
Not because it'll make the game better or worse, but because all music should be awesome or gtfo. Edit: ok, going a little overboard with the video links. :P Last edited by Dagron; 2012-06-16 at 01:37 AM. |

Music isn't needed but it can make an average game fantastic if done properly. I haven't seen a western game nail it yet though.
Pretty much any successful Japanese game relied on good music. Last edited by Otleaz; 2012-06-16 at 01:28 AM. |

That being said, if you've spent that much time playing XBox games you must have learned to love the music! Unless... your mommy makes you turn down the volume... in which case shame on her. Music enriches lives and creates a more productive work force. We the masses demand epic music. |

A little insight into a music related story. During the Alpha testing stages of BF2142, a whole group of close testers began to boycott 2142 because the sound track had been changed from the original tune. A week later a new version was released and sounded amazing!

Trolling aside, Music is an important part of the game, and when done right can nicely blend into the background with the other sound effects. We will just have to wait for the finished product before we try and get the "feel" of it. Additional: Throw ALL the development money at the music! Infact, To make this the BEST FPS you should only be able to fire in time with the music. That will provide an even deeper connection between gameplay and music that I believe we can all love. |

I have also always felt that petitions are a great way to get devs to change things about there games. I mean, how can people that do this for a living know more about how to make money developing a game than people living in their mom's basement and only friend are people they talk to via a headset.
So, because of that, and while talking via a headset, I think unless the Dev's change the music to epic standard we will be forced to start a petition. I know that is drastic but it will be done if needed. The music must be defended. Last edited by jepaul; 2012-06-16 at 01:32 AM. |

You don't have to have a high gamerscore, or even care if anyone else has a higher one, to link your xbox live profile to the forums here...
(The music will be the three full released albums by E.S. Posthumus, of course) Last edited by Trafalgar; 2012-06-16 at 01:38 AM. |
