Well then.
By the commentators estimate, about 99% of first time pilots crashed in the E3 footage. The closest thing to compare it to is a UFO. It's the only vehicle in the game that can move forward, stop and reverse in 2 seconds flat, as well as turning on a dime. You change altitude and direction like you breath. For most pilots, it's too fast, kinda like having a mouse sensitivity on it's highest setting. |

You don't need armor when the other guy can't turn on a dime. The scythe is really more of an air superiority air frame than a ground support air frame. Proper usage of flares, evasive maneuvers and not entering hot zones at low altitude should allow scythes to prevail. Just focus on downing their air and let the liberators work on the ground. Enemy air chasing libs? Well, then you're on their tail and they have tailgunner firing at them...which may potentially still hit you but you still get the jump, and generally the kill.
