One sci-fi concept that always sticks out to me is the lack of governments where corps or companies having all the power and maybe not that far off. Honestly thats already the case but they still give us the illusion government

USA are not trying to give us any illusions anymore. They have stated very clearly that NASA will NOT be at the frontier anymore but that private companies will take over... genious plan btw, perhaps we can finally get a RL avatar scenario.
