for a squad is you fly up to a point no one else can get to and place a squad beacon down on it so even if your buddies die and a medic can't rez them then they can just drop down.

To me the fact that the light assault can go places other class can not and hide and move faster is the strongest class in the game. They are the best lone wolfs and the game has catered to lone wolf playstyle from Battlefield and CoD. Leaderboard? just lone wolf for that K/D and forget anything else.

I think giving the LA a tool to put down a 1-time spawn beacon separate from the squad leader beacon would be good.

Basically the LA goes in and drops his beacon. Everyone in Squad at that time has 1 drop at that location and it disappears after that one time for them.

Set it up like the Inf radar tool thing with an ammo of 1 or a time based ability. Additional cert levels either give extra ammo or lower the cooldown on the ability. I think having it more ability based with a longer cooldown would be better than having it ammo based. This way you could balance how often squads used it. Make the base ability take 2 times as long to recharge as the squad leader. With certs you could get the cooldown to the level that the current base squad leader one was at.

This would make the LA wanted in a squad and even with them being a lone wolf at times they could bring their squad to good flanking positions.
