I am glad to see the Phoenix making a return with its Camera guided option. Some of these changes in the next update are going to make for some very interesting game play.

VR and some old-school Empire Specific flavours for AV. They didn't break PS1, but its true that infantry wasn-t OHK with AV weapons. I'm glad these are coming, but I'm sure a storm is coming for infantry vs infantry balancing.

Still glad to see all this, looking good!

For those who are a bit confused about the Prowler's indirect damage change. The indirect damage has, presumably, been cut in half so instead of each shot dealing 1000 damage they will now deal 500 damage each. So in order to deal 1000 splash damage to a target[s] they will need to fire both rounds.
The same has been true for the direct damage since The Prowler was created and I don't personally forsee any problems with landing both rounds and actually damaging infantry in the area of impact, no more so than before. One of course has to take into account that they are going to reduce the AOE splash range, but that's universal.

Explosive radius from ALL vehicle based damage sources have been reduced, this does not affect vehicle vs vehicle direct hit damage, only splash damage vs infantry.
Isn't this the kind of change that should be carefully considered on a per weapon basis? Hopefully that is what they're really doing, but a broad statement like this makes me doubt...

Completely biased example: The M14 Banshee ("anti-infantry" Mosquito nose gun). Anyone using it is sacrificing 50% damage against vehicles (compared to the Needler) for an explosive radius that doesn't feel very large to begin with.

The Scythe's PPA seems to be in a similar situation (but sacrificing rate of fire instead of damage). I can't say for sure, I never used it.

Edit: Forgot to say, sure, a smaller explosive radius just means that I have to aim better, but if I wanted to aim I would be using the Needler... Not needing precise aim is the whole point of the Banshee.

Depends on whether or not aircraft are to be considered vehicles.

We have heard mixed things on the Phoenix but as of right now the latest info we have is camera guided.

I thought passive certs stacked up for three days before you had to login and collect them? Or is that old/bad info?
