Just got this:
I am adding you to the beta right now. The instructional email may take a while to get through the queue and out to you, but in the meantime if you want to get started and to make sure you are flagged and ready to go, you can do the following: > > 1. Log out of Planetside or Planetside2.com (any SOE) website. > 2. Clear your browser cookies and cache. > 3. Completely close your browser and any and all browser windows. > > --Important to do this to make sure the beta access updates on your account -- > > 4. Open browser to go here to download the game http://www.planetside2.com/download > > > > If you cannot get to the download page and start downloading I will need to look at your account again. In good nature i too will return to say.. it wasnt working all day.. but now it is
thank you SOE team... i was super bummed and lost some faith today... and this just doubled it... to mess something up is one thing to mess it up.. say... OOPS GUYS HOLD ON A SECOND.. then fix it is another you could of just made us wait till twitter key wave... and you didnt you guys rock |

Question,I downloaded the beta,problem is, the damn thing crashes the before I can even see the loading screen and redirects me to a page with the planetside 2 logo and an under maintance message over it,anyone know how to fix this,im itching to play it.

OMG I'm downloading!!!! Just FYI I purchased PS online at 9:00pm last night and now I'm in. Before you complain that I'm not a true vet I was in the PS1 beta from day one and played it for 1.5 months before release and then 2.5 years afterward..but don't remember which email I used and lost my boxed copy.

Run a file check to verify that none of the game's assets have become corrupted. Open the LaunchPad and click on the Wrench icon in the lower left. Select Validate Game Assets and then click Validate. The program will run through a check of all of its files. If any are corrupted, Uninstall and Reinstall the game from the same menu. http://help.station.sony.com/app/ans...4974/related/1 hope it works for you soon buddy |
