The concept of a jet pack always appealed to me (I'm also the only one that can use Force Jump as a weapon in JK2 )

But I never liked the weapons of Tribes....

For me no game has given more hours for the dolars then Half Life... with all the mods... Damn, even pre-mods just the multi was a blast. But as tot he mods... only 4 really stand out

I'm not even sure Firearms is still available, but we used to wait till a storm was comming, pack up all the comps, and come to my house... heat with nothing but computer power and have 16 player Firearms games. Fun as hell!

For Co-op NO one has done better then Halo... I look forward to Halo2 just for the co-p (if it's still there) Sure hope more games (specially PC games) come out with co-op modes... too much fun, I don;t remember one that good sense Doom2

I agree Deus Ex was great, but I've been a long time fan of Unreal 1. Smooth graphics, lots of guns and baddies, and HUGE!!!! levels. The only thing it didn't have going with it was a good story which was pretty sparse.
Dont even try that Unreal 2 crap, play the first one and you'll see what the second should have been!

Best single player-Deus Ex

Best Co-op-System Shock 2 because not only did it have a decent plot, it was a fun game to play. I'd vote for Halo but FPSs on consoles are an abomination and the fact that it's on X-Box just makes it worse. That's just me though, nothing against anyone who likes Halo.

Best Multiplayer-Not sure honestly. Duke Nukem 3D I loved and will always love, but that's probably because it was my first experience with it. I think it's kind of like the "your first true love" thing. That aside I'd say Tribes 1 for the mods and Tribes 2 for classic.

i don't think ANYONE here DOES think halo was the first co-op, but it sure as hell was an AMAZING co-op game, without a doubt at all. i HATE one-player, and don't like deathmatch that much. but the co-op, in my eyes, is absolutely perfect.
