Since you may have say 4 different type of cycler to go with , expect multiple loadouts per class. I just hope they give us a lot more favourite slots this time

As in Battlefield 3, hit judgement is split between server and client-side, meaning where you shoot will be where you hit. The game has a realistic ballistics model: “When you fire a weapon it takes time to hit the location. If you fire a sniper rifle from a distance, you’ll have to aim your headshot a little above your target.”

Ever notice how there's no women in those TR screenshots? Not trying to start any roomers here, but I think the TR guys play for the other faction if you can dig what I'm laying down.

It will make snipers extremly weak, which people want since they hate snipers for some reason.



Im sure their won't be cloaking for them tho...maybe really bad clocking.



So snipers will die with 1 sniper shot like in PS1....while they will take way more damage from regular bullets.

Snipers will be fine. Since they are going to be able to turn invisible. They don't need the extra armor. It's actually better for them since there main concern wasn't infantry but vehicles and air cav. This gives them protection against it.

Actually, I don't think we've seen any female avatars in the game yet, just the concept art. I'm starting to doubt that they will be in the game at all. Probably makes life much simpler for the devs since they don't have to account for different hit box sizes.

Snipers = infiltrators. That officially SUCKS A BIG F***.


A sniper is effective against:
*Infantry

Things effective against a sniper:
*Aircraft
*Ground Vehicles
*Cloakers
*Other Snipers
*No Ammo Terms Around
*No healing

Above else:
*Snipers kill most of targets in 2 bullets
*Snipers have no camoflage or whatever, so he's to be spotted after just 1 shot
*Playing as a sniper will get you killed a lot and yet you'll still get a complaint everytime you kill somebody

So please Dreamcast. If you don't know what it is to be a sniper, try sniping yourself instead of crying about it.

On a side note though, dear SOE, I think you just lost one of your potential PS2 players.

They now have protection against everything you mention. It's passive yes, but it makes sniper more of that sneaky guy which is kinda what they are suppose to be. I for one think it's great they did this. I happen to know a few people planning on playing this role specifically and I was boggling my mind how I can use them in close relation to the rest of my team. This gives them that ability, they can now avoid air craft which was what I thought would be the main issue and they will be harder to spot out when trying to avoid other snipers.

Without any speculation, I can safely state a fact:
Sniping infiltrator will have no cloaking. Why? Because it'll be damn overpowered with HS-OSOK sniper rifle. Thus what you're trying to say is irrelevant. Otherwise I would be running all over the house with my pants on my head screaming "OMGFFSSOEILOVEYOU!" in one word with 12db voice. The rest would though complain, whine and dick about the sub-class and in a few days it would be nerfed down to nothing.
