Well, I'm talking about a war with armies that are somewhat equally matched. What the US has going on currently is an occupation.

The most deadly obstacle in land warfare is open terrain, which doesn't exist in PS2. PS2 is more like constant urban warfare where the infantry does their thing.

Getting things in context a bit here, I don't remember EVER being killed by a Flash mounted Fury.

there's guys doing it now that wraith is out.

i liked the fury for a while now though. i used to sit in a sundy in the crown and camp the vehicle bay with one, while collecting spawns, mining the stairs with proxies, hopping out to rep maxes/tanks, and to shotgun LA/engi in the face.

i got many an angry tell.

Yea, the normal flashes are good I think. A prototypical glass cannon... literally can be taken out with any small arms fire.

However, The fury/wraith combo will be nerfed. Rolling up cloaked / unleashing fury domination one-hit-kills / cloaking while you roll away will cause major issues once it becomes widespread.

I had hoped that they made the wraith module a replacement weapon... so a wraith was invisible transport rather than weapons platform.... But now they'll probably end up nerfing the grenade launcher rather than limiting its use to visible flashes.

I don't know how they could have thought having a near invisible fast moving vehicle with a good weapon on it was a good idea.... how do these things get past the simplest play-testing... I mean really. It's like Infils with shotguns... Just try it out and you know how cheap it feels (Fun I grant you... but still cheap feeling)

It is very situational... Flashes are paper thin... Now with the wraith module that means that they can get closer to the infantry and the Fury is going to become an issue.

Visible Flashes are great for transport and for suicide runs, but as for an actual long-term combat vehicle... not very good. Very high-risk, high-reward (furying a bunch of infantry in the back, hitting a tank from behind with C4/Mines/Deci's, etc)

If you are seen though... it's a deathtrap... any MBT/Lightning can usually one or two shot you... and most of the better tank drivers can snap shoot ya without thinking if you get too close.

I see cloacked flashes with m40 appearing behind enemy front lines all the time, they get some kills and run away.
Also, I don´t know why, but since 3 days ago, Cloaked flashes are trying to ram everyone they can see, I normally hit them with a rocket on the face, but they get lots of kills before they try to get me.
Also, flashes with m40 inside buildings racking plenty of kill is also a common sight.

Also a single liberator with a single pilot, using tank buster plus flares plus regen, was able to harass me and more 5 outfit members near NC warpgate, we where on 2 anti air maxes, and even on the move he nose dive and killed each one under even under fire from 2 maxes, all the other 4 where heavy assault that couldn´t do shit because of the flares.

I still remember the day I landed my liberator on the landing pad of the amp station so my gunners could go hack a sundie for us, while that I piloted it inside the amp station and with the tank buster I cleared out the capture point with like 10 kills, it is a 2 shots to kill infantry with it, and you got 30 without expanded mags! Everytime someone aimed at me with a rocket he was dead, the most difficult part it was getting out the amp station capture point with the liberator, but I manage to do that.

The tank buster is the default weapon to kill enemy liberator, you see one bombarding you get close and kill it before it can start moving. Also, the tank buster is much better against ESF them the standard guns, despise what some people say about it here.

I just wish I be as good as the guy I posted here in the last liberator thread, the just can turn his liberator belly to the back and kill chasing enemy ESF with the dalton with great accuracy!
