I'm sending them an email now to let them know about our status quo.

Also, I'm reworking some details so that I don't go as over budget as I am now (as it stands now, I'd have to eat about $1,000) and I'll ask you all before I make any significant changes (I don't forsee that happening) and I'll certainly keep you posted on any minute changes that I make to the event.

In any case, this weekend will be utter pwnage. It looks like I might have to cut the population cap back to 35 or 40 - we've got 31 people paid now - so if you're registered but not paid, send me an email ASAP and let me know what your intentions are. If you are going to pay, tell me so that I include you in the pop lock, and if you're either not sure or can't come, let me know as well.

Whoa....thanks for the notification that you had already worked out a max of 30 with the restaurants, and may have had to close early. Now I just may not be able to go, especially if the cap is reduced to 35.

I sent an email to the group reps at the restaurants, asking to re-work our current reservation in order to shave off $1,000. I'll keep you posted on that - I don't see why it would be a problem.

Also, I've sent an email to Spork at Sony asking him to let me know ASAP whether Devs will be there or not - I'm sure you and I will both hear the result of that at the same time

EDIT: I'm going to work my butt off to keep the cap at 50 people. It depends on how the next few days go. If I get 10 more people paid, then obviously the cap will be higher. We'll see. I'll try not to cap it at all, but I can't sustain a $1,000 loss.

***URGENT REMINDER***

You now have less than one week before the July 15th deadline for registration/deposits. After July 15th, if you aren't paid, there is absolutely no chance that you will be able to join the group in Orlando for a weekend of great food, awesome company, theme parks, and bling hotels. There is no way that you can attend this event unless you have registered online and paid your $155 deposit to me by next Thursday, July 15th.

31 people currently paid, 33 people currently registered and not paid = 14 people who've registered will be left behind. Do not kick yourself in a week's time because you ended up being one of them!
