Yes. It's called "Hey random dudes get on my Vent/TS server!" This occurs in many MMO-RPGs at high levels. If you aren't on the group's Vent then you don't roll with that group. And since there's supposed to be in-game voice, we don't even need someone's Vent server. But hey - let's not confuse the issue with simple and readily-available logic at the expense of making smart-ass comments, shall we?

Hitting 2 keys simultainusly (ALT+G) when you are over a yellow triangle won't make you 1337...

Personally I have never understood those guys, who couldn't make it though...

I've yet to see a game that would've managed to have people prefer using in-game voice over the groups own TS/Vent/whatever. Even when playing with a few randoms, usually it isnt worth it

That's not the point - most of us prefer Vent/TS to in-game voice. The point is, the resource is available "no matter how how much of an ego you have from being in a l33t outfit" so to speak.

Then have it set up so players run up to the ramp, press G, and then can board the galaxy. If you don't press G there is an invisible wall that prevents you from entering the Galaxy cabin.

At 12 players and 2 MAXs (or however many the galaxy holds) then you simply can't press G to load onto the galaxy anymore.

And if there is a weapon lock while inside the galaxy cabin then you can't blow it up from the inside. Besides, organized outfits wouldn't blow up their own galaxy anyways, only galaxies consisting of random zerglings *might* see that happen but whatever. There are solutions.

Not everyone owns mics. Nor do they want to be constantly exposed to inane blabber. You consider the resource to be their. Others consider that to be a crap resource.

I don't see the fuss. A single "Jump, jump, jump!" voice macro would do the trick.

Add seatbelts to the seats so if you enter a gal and can't fasten your seatbelt, you will fall out of the gal at the first turn, or if the ramp is closed you will bounce around and sustain damage.

In Planetside we found that a number of soldiers would lag. A simple solution for this was, when you were over the tower, you dropped. When the Gal Pilot shouted, "Go, Go, Go!" one or two players would miss the tower. Not because they couldn't hit ALT-G (which could be remapped) but because they were lagging. We found this out through practice.

The fuss was your smart-ass remark about egos and l337 outfits. The rest I couldn't give a shit about because it's already been covered ad nauseum. Voice macros, personal macros, being smart enough to bail when you're over the target, TS/Vent, in-game voice chat... as far as inane blabber goes, I've made multiple statements that I am absolutely against any sort of in-game voice chat unless the default position is OFF, because I had enough of that shit in TF2 with little kids being on the mike.

This is what we do - we still call GO GO GO, but everyone is trained (repeatedly) to bail over the target and then to adjust with movement keys per their position on the mini radar. However, it gets a little bit trickier when you do low-altitude afterburn drops because you don't have a lot of time to adjust, so you really need to be familiar with the timing.

A possible solution to overcome the neglect of ground transport would be to have a map/world/area where you CANNOT use gals. Idk something like a really high and close tropical rainforest with a rediculously thick canopy would render gal drops moot and force players to use ground transport. Or maybe an area where there are "magnetic storms" which interfere with aircraft. Some story like that anyways could help the plight of the ground transport.

Another solution is to promote some obvious pro's of ground transport over the gals. Rediclous armour maybe? Being able to fire your wepons out of the ground transports but not out of the gals? Im sure there are plenty of these kinda balancing points which can be exploited to make ground appeal to some and air to others.

With regards to hot drops could the pilot not have a "ready" button which they push 1 min (or so) before drop. The passengers then have to push a "ready" button too. One a passenger has pushed his "ready" button the pilot can eject them where they want. Probably overcomplicating things but would most likely do away with pilots abusing the kick function.
