geez guys ..... this is a sci-fi setting we don't need to add more wheels or skids just cos the ones there look a lil small and fragile, we just use sci-spin.
"The wheels are made from pure fictionium, which every school kid knows is capable of taking the weight of a billion tons before even being strained, so worry not and enjoy a safe landing everytime*" *Does not include all the times your being shot at with lazers, missles or space goats See sorted, Gal looks great!

I was thinking the same thing. I'm not sure if it is the angle or what but it almost looks like the wings are folding back or something. My guess is that it is probably just the angle of the picture, but it's still an interesting question.

Btw, think people aren't used to seeing a Galaxy that has landed, but still "floats" above the ground due to the shadows (normally directly under the unit if rendered in PS, here shadows are actually cast by a light source). Normally it almost seems as if a Galaxy rests on the ground with the belly due to their large mass and the short distance to the ground, where the ski sticks out at the front making a visual connection of the nose of the aircraft to the ground. Here though the wheel is tucked away under the belly more, which visually amplifies the distance between ground and nose and makes the wheel look smaller than it actually is.
Would still prefer a double wheel though. |

Just noticed the desktop file named "Planetside X Warfare R....."
Interesting considering that SOE registered the domains "planetsidex.com" and "planetsidewarfare.com"
