I used to play as a female in 3rd person RPGs just so I didn't have to stare at a guy's ass all day.
But my blood is no longer pumped full of hormones. I think I'll save the embarrassment over VOIP and make a male character.

You still haven't explained why. It's generally regarded that those secure in themselves are more comfortable with showing their sensitivity and any potential feminine side, while those in denial of it try and prove their masculinity at all costs. Listen, baby. Babycakes. My big boy Hydra. Show me where I've gotten defensive and I'll show you a misunderstanding, okay sweetheart? Last edited by Vancha; 2012-03-06 at 04:53 PM. |

I'll be playing whatever feels right at the moment I'm creating my character. What do I feel right then and there? Which faction am I choosing, which will be my main playstyle? Which of the two genders have the most badass models/animations? etc.
We'll see, time will tell. |

Why are you still talking about this? Now we are just going off-topic. I gave my opinion on the matter I'm sorry you get upset when people don't see eye to eye with you. (not really) I don't have the time to at the moment to indulge this lovely conversation I have other matters to attend to. If you want you can pm me and we can finish this conversation over there instead of here. Last edited by Hydra; 2012-03-06 at 05:07 PM. |

Also, i would personally like to think that if one is secure in thier sexuality, they would do whatever they like and not give a shit what other people think
I don't like playing female avatars in games where there is any sort of real female playerbase. People tend to assume that you are actually female in those situations, rather than just assuming that everyone is male until they hear otherwise on voice comms. As i am not interested in cybersex, especially with desperate teenage gamers that run around trying to cyber with anything they can... playing a male avatar simply avoids all of that shit. For some reason there are guys out there that take a female avatar as to mean cybersexually available, and if you don't want to be hit on, then what were you doing not playing a male avatar, regardless of your actual, Real Life sex. |
