Why was netarun banned?

What happened to the 3 warning strike rule? It went pretty much out the window when you banned him without warning.

You are right Jenny. It is not the community who decides who's banned or not. We do however, have a right to know why one of the most important rules was broken by you. You should have warned him first, before banning him. As far as I am aware, he was not warned before he was banned. I'll check with him on that though.

We utilize a 3 strike rule at PSU, if you violate the rules more than 3 times you will be removed permanently.

I think this was the main issue everyone that had a problem with it was getting at... and the fact that it was a thread made to ask for help for people that got hit by the effects of the largest earthquake in 40 years on christmas day...

Some people dont deserve warnings. It doesent matter anyway, all this will be gone in a few months. I am tired of dealing with all this drama all the time, its time for a vacation.

Again if you don't like the style of moderating you know where the door is. We let back on mods and people bitch there isnt enough mods, we mod and people bitch there is to much. Maybe someone else wants to see what it is like to be in the admin's shoes. Still doesnt change the fact that Squeeky could have acted in a less trolling way. If he wasnt your pet he would already be gone but since he's been back (and I've been don't give me any shit about not being there) he's been doing all the shit he swore never to do again... seriously Hamma take the fucking blindfold off alot of people should have been long gone but for some odd reason they're still here...

I very much doubt that what I said will have any effect on anything but my path down this community (or out) but I made it none the less because alot of people are tired of Squeeky's shit and with reason. I won't act like a two face and plead for his forgiveness if he ever goes out the window, I won't harrass him on other thread like he has done to so many people. One thing won't change and it's my opinion that this community would be better off without his antics and I'm sure alot of people think the same way but they're too afraid to speak out because it might end up banning them.

Ok, the guy acted very irrationaly and was banned. He will be back in a few days and hopefully will be calm and go about giving the donation links in a normal manner. Hopefully everyone will forget it ever happend (I wont be holding my breath).

The Admins DID make the right decision. He deserved a ban. But the community is right about squeeky too. Wether or not the guy is an ass hat does not matter. He still should not be flamed to all hell. Just because someone is a criminal does not mean we can beat the living shit out of him. It should be no diffrent on the forums.

The rules are that there is to be NO flaming on the forums. And NO trolling. No where in that list of rules does it say "If a person is a jackass you can break these rules." Lets face it. The guy would have not have continued screaming and yelling like a 12 year old school girl if people had acted normally and not flamed him. He wouldnt have had a reason to get fired up. And thusly would have gotten a warning for an inappropriate post instead of a ban because he was PROVOKED.

Like it or not, Hamma, but in my eyes and in the eyes of alot of the community the rules are getting bent. No one is blaming the mods or calling their actions bad. Not in this thread at least. Especialy hezzy. He went around this very rationaly and calm. He knew there was a reason that his friend was banned. He just wanted to know what that reason was. Also he probably was trying to bring to light something he was under the impression that you, the mods, did not understand. He was provoked into a screaming match.

... Thats more like $5.

EDIT: I was just informed that its not a temp 3 day ban like normal but a perma. I was under the impression that it was temp for cool down time

I tried to stay out of this drama we are having, but this I have to agree on. I do think Squeeky has gotten away with shit for too long, along with alot of other people. Although I spend 90% of my internet time whoring these forums, I could'nt care less if I got banned.

Man, why is everyone leaving PSU? so far we've lost TB and others are already thinking it over. It would be devastating if squeeky left, because he actually makes PSU fun and interesting. In fact, I wouldnt be here if it werent for the three ban rule, and I know how terribly sad everyone would be if I were'ent here. So give squeeky's obnoxiousness some time. Let hamma buttsechs him up some and show him whos boss. We need to keep psu together!

It means once the donation money runs out the site will be closing, I think that PSU has had a good run and it's finally time to throw in the towel. I can't deal with this crap anymore, I don't have the time or the will as I used to.

To be frank, Squeeky has had way more than the 3 chances. He was banned, remember? But then he returned, and stayed, under the conditions that if he ever broke the rules again he'd be perma'd. Well... we all know how that went.
