I will play as VS, at least at first, because of sentimental attachment to the VS from PS1. If that doesn't work out (not sure about art style tbh) then I will play NC due to the freedom fighter theme and cool-looking armour/maxes.

I will not, under any circumstances, ever play TR. Don't know why, but I wouldn't feel clean pulling on the read and black. Weird, eh?

Vs #1, then TR and I'll never ever play the NC. Unless by some weird conjunction of Mercury retrograde in Uranus ALL my buddies go NC. But I'll hate every minute of it.

I love the vanu aesthetics. That visor makes me think of redacted special forces photos.

I think that I'm one of those few who doesn't really have this extreme view of the other two factions as retard scumbags with no right to breathe this very air. ^^

In PS1 I was TR just because I enjoyed their armor, looks and weapons. In PS2 I'll be NC, just because I enjoy their armor, looks and weapons more so than the TR.

I've never had this extreme "rooting" of a faction in any type of games. In MMO's, FPS's, RPG's, I play what I feel like at any time. I guess that's good for me since I'll be able to experience all aspects of the games that I'm playing.

Don't get me wrong though, that doesn't mean that I doesn't get a sense of competitiveness when I'm fighting another player. That's all there, believe me.

So, the order of most interesting faction for me at this very time is: NC > VS > TR

To be honest, there is no way I'm switching factions due to poplock. If I can't fit on any server/continent, then I'll be on the official forums bitching at the developers for not making SOE spend more money for larger servers due to the game exploding in popularity.

I couldn't play anything else, it would feel like I was lowering myself, deliberately handicapping myself with chains of ignorance and mediocre weaponry. I'd feel dirty, unclean.

VS - Hate the NC, they are on easy mode with over powered weapons and KSCAT KSCAT etc.. I also dont like many of the outfits on NC simply because they all either pull extreme amounts of maxs or use SA when they have the best HA by far and don't really need 650 armour to beat anyone.

But since in Europe it seems than the Vanu are totally overpopulated, I think in the end I'll go NC. I like all the styles actually, i didn't play PS1, and in PS2 all the factions look great, very different but all really cool.

i like all three armies, but i like to dedicate myself to the NC's cause =)

I bleed purple, but I can at least sympathize with the NC. Hell had the fictions been depicted in PS1 as they are PS2, I probably would've been NC. (Everything you've heard about Vanu cults is horrible propaganda)

But I don't understand how anyone - anyone plays TR. You're a fascist. You're objectively fascist. Your entire goal is to deny people self-government. What the hell?
