Wasnt this mentioned some days ago? or did I dream that.
Common pool deliverer. 1 driver enclosed, 1 gunner enclosed, 1 passenger and 1 exposed passenger, able to use there own equiped weapons. Will be curios to see where it sits in terms of speed, manouverability and armour. If its too fragile it will be useless with the current rocket spam, and yet if they give it too much armour and it can carry (3-4) people it will outclass the MBTs, unless they realy limit the choice of top gun. |

That's what I was thinking, though im not sure about it amphibious nature.
This had better NOT be a "buggy". No, it doesn't, not even a little bit. Ok, maybe a little. Not sure if I like it going from a truck to ...yet another Hummer/MRAP thing. As much as I think it was a mistake not to include it from the onset. I knew it would never happen once the game launched. For that, PS2 will always be missing a point of immersion. If not animations, what about use cues (not just text, but adding floor symbols) and fixed entry/exit points at doors and consoles, rather than a magic touch?
You know, akin to the yellow circle symbols on the floor in PS2. Could simply indicate which seats have been taken or if the vehicle is locked by the owner. |

I do miss PS1 vehicle entry/exit animations. The magic touch does feel dumbed-down to improve gameplay at the expense of immersion.
Halo has a compromise where you still see yourself entering and exiting the vehicle, but you can control it immediately. |

This is exactly what PS2 needs, but in Halo, you can still be headshotted while getting into, say, a Scorpion Tank, even though the driving mechanism registers you as being fully in the driver's seat. Would SOE allow this in PS@ or have them invulnerable for that moment in time?
