Or, as you pay more you get better looking armor. They did say the cash shop would have cosmetic stuff. What if they give people this, and then sell a version of NC Heavy Armor that looks like the concept art?
That's what I'd do, anyways. |

Well yes... the 15th and 16th century full plate suit was amazingly well put together, the craftsmanship on quality suits was amazing, I there is very little put together like that anymore. That said, you would think nanites which can make an engine could make some decent joints. |

Needs some work on proportions for sure. The concept looks far better, though the artist may not have had to deal with the realities of the way the human body moves.
The thing that sticks out to me is how disconnected each of the individual armor pieces look. Part of this is how hard all of the edges are. The concept has a softer and more filleted look. I would say this holds true for many of the NC armor designs. I feel like rounding the edges a bit would do wonders without compromising the boxy theme. Make the armor look more "forged" and less "3 axis milling machined". |

NC armor is made from re purposed tools, experimental tech, and scrap.
Matches with the old version well, fits the lore and the attitude of the faction. If you don't like it, then you're really going to hate it when I start shoving my metal crotch plate into your face vigorously after I perforate you on the field. Look at his elbows. Same lack of armor covering the joints. Last edited by Kriegson; 2012-04-05 at 12:32 AM. |

Looks really awesome, finally some good old blue and yellow.
However, the flannel shirt is at times way too clean/shiny. Compare neck, elbow and ass to fe. knees. Around knees the flannel is dirty enough to not stand out, but neck, elbow and ass is way too bright.
