EDIT: Shoot, ninjaed! I think it means more like "If you submit your slogan, you give it us and thus you cant later try to cash in with us using your slogan".

For a little extra I'd be happy if was a Polo Shirt instead of a T-Shirt. Then you could conceiveably have your Clan logo on the front with the faction logo and slogan on the back...
If I win I'm CDL, by the way In the interests of recruitment for the new game, my slogan for the TR is based on the fact that it's a republic - a force composed of the public being given constitutional rights to protect the public's interests. We have security from a government composed of a proper political process and a centralised planetary force to guard against terrorism; we have equality that provides, with legislation, equal civil rights without favouring one area over another; and we have unity where it brings all colours, creeds and backgrounds together for a common cause. A radical faction like the NC that is divided by the opinions of many different cells, or a religion like the VS that acts more like the Catholic Church 1,000 years earlier for an alien race with the power to destroy a planet, would NEVER be societies I wanted to live in. Nobody said that running a republic was easy, but at least most of them try to give all people a voice and equal opportunities. Last edited by Hyncharas; 2011-12-09 at 10:10 AM. |

To add on Jennys: Ive been playing and waiting for MMOs for almost 10 years now. I have been in plenty Pre-Beta phases for games, waiting for every bit of information, cheering whenever something new gets released. Most times, you dont hear much till a certain point, and then its just a random ongioing information release without any direct community Interaction.
Sometimes there was some interaction, but it was rather rare events. During Jumpgate Evolutions Pre-Beta Phase (witch it never left ), we had several Dev-Chats via IRC and Voice, with one of those actually started and partially organised by myself. Devs also posted on Fansites, but rather irregulary. And now, we have this. Planetside 2 's pre-Beta phase. The dev-Community interaction is unheard of. We have The Creative Director posting here almost every day, the Art Director posting here after almost every news release (gotta get that up man, post MOAR! ), loads of other guys posting here every now and then, almost all of the devs reading here, and even the big Boss Smed himself appearing here once in a while. And thats on a fansite. Really, dont take that for granted. Instead, be happy. Ofc we all want more information, more screenshots and more videos, but dont be mad at them just because they dont spam us with information atm. Be happy that they send out those screenys, read our crap and even reply to it. You get your video at some point anyway, but having dev interaction in the meantime rather than waiting and doing nothing is AWESOME! |

I'm famous!
In all seriousness though, that was worth watching last night. Made me laugh. I don't think I've ever even heard of this level of interaction with a community. I love the PS2 dev team. Great work guys! |

Lol, that was great.
I always miss these things. TRay! Representing! Love ya Higby... But fuck the NC. Your tweets rule, your sandwiches look delicious, but you're a smurf. There can be no peace between us. |

I have to say I was a bit disappointed that the big announcement was a contest.
But the show was great and that made up for it. Higby and TRay are hilarious. You guys need your own reality TV-show. I'd totally watch it. Thanks for being cool and keep doing what you are doing. It's making a difference! |
