I was on the throne letting out what's left of a taco when it came to me...!
...How nice would a implant based on your empire be? well kinda nice if someone would elaborate something lol. Maybe not implants but they act as imps... Let take for example VS: armor mounted grapling hook. ya know a small hook mounted on the arm of an armor shoots and grabs on to a ledge permitiing you to zip up there thus giving you more mobility wich is the moto for Vanu For the rest I have no freaking Idea

I like the idea, but the problem with empire-specific anything is the whiners.
Another problem is, it's hard to apply the empire 'philosophies' of TR = more shots, NC = more powerful shots, VS = versatility to empires other than the VS without going into the forbidden land of directly increasing the damage/accuracy/RoF of a gun. Anyways, some ideas for implants. These could be just given to any empire or made common pool: Radar-transparency/sensor jammer, which would make you not show up on radar and not get shot by automated anything unless a motion sensor detected you. Medium stamina usage. REK Implant (Obvious) Ammunition replicators which manufacture ammo for your current (or last) weapon when activated. It would take about 200 stamina to make one box of ammo, and it would only fill up partially used boxes, not make new ones. Stamina drain low, about 1.5/second, so it takes quite a while to make more ammo.

I like what this guy is getting at, he is trying to make the factions more diffrent. (bad grammer) And I on some level agree. The factions rightnow are essentialy the same thing except on a few basic points. Its like trying to play an RTS online with both players using the same side except they have 5 diffrent units everything else is the same. That is my only beef with the entire game (oh except for the fact that with these new two aircraft and the new AA buggy i will not beable to have almost all the certs once all chars are at BR20! I still stick by my idea that the AA Buggy should go along with the heavy buggy cert and the reaver ert brings along the liberator too!
Edit: MAke Wraith and the Basilik one cert too! |

No, you don't need to carry a REK, it's implanted in your arm or something....

Ham is right. It would drain stamina at an extremely slow rate, so that unless you were using other implants you'd still be regenerating stamina, just slower. In the end, it would consume 200 stamina for a clip, but it wouldn't be really noticable most of the time since it would just slow down how fast you get stamina back.
The REK implant is an REK that instead of being in your inventory is in an implant slot.
