Ok so I am on Werner, walking along and I see an enemy AMS, he gets out and I shoot him dead, then start shooting the now deployed AMS before they start flowing out of it, me and 3 other guys where shooting at it,then some moron called Kosmos comes and starts hackin it WHILE we are shooting it, it blows up and this happens via /tell

Me: Why da fuck did you go near the AMS while I was shooting it?
Kosmos: Because I was hacking it and we would have had another spawn point and was shouting aobut it
Me: Me and 3 other guys were shooting it before you got there, you blind?

Oops, hit submit too soon. I was going to tell you a funny story that happened to me before I went on vacation last week.

I was in an enemy base behind the lattice, just John Rambo'ing around and causing problems for the local Vanu. I have three of them chasing me around the courtyard and kill two before ducking into a stairwell. As I went thru the door, I saw the third one bearing down on my position, so I went half way up the stairs and wait.

The door opens and I pull the trigger, but check fire when I notice grief points and a friendly on the other side of the door. He was hit by exactly 2 shots.

Me: sry

No reply from this guy, so I figure whatever. He takes two steps past me up the stairs, turns and fires a burst into my back. Ok then, I turned and emptied my clip into his chest, sending him to the respawn.

Now I get a tell from him: Fucking fagit [sic]
Me: Eat it.

Later on at another base, the guy is following me around in his reaver, so I ducked back inside for a minute and he wanders off.

well, uh, if he started to hack it, it would've been to your team's advantage, so, yeah, you should've stopped firing

ha ha sounds like somethin that happened last night to me. Was making an ANT run on ishundar at irkalla. So theres this other ANT there and we're both waiting for hack to finish so we can refill. So i get there right as the hack completes, i rush out and deploy the nearest ANT i can see. I mean they were right next to each other! well he undeploys, and i think hey thats my ANT dont undeploy my ANT, so i redeploy it and he Tk's me, luckily my squad mate deployed mine too, so we shared the xp so i come on the tell with:

me- YOU BASTARD
RNueslein- stay away from my ant idiot
me- WTF i made a mistake thought it was my ANT retard!

so i then proceed to hunt him down only to have him run to an equip terminal and get a pounder and then TK me again...

after that i send him another tell

me- ill kill u
him- not if i leave
me- coward
(period of 2 min silence)

me- whyd u have to shoot me, i just made a mistake.
him- well im sorry
me- alright it doesnt do us negood to TK each other nemore truce?
him- aiight

so then we start chattin and become friends i just cant stay mad at anyone it seems (except AGENTWHITE) ha ha.

Umm...this is a kind of dumb rant. If someone is hacking an AMS, stop firing at it. I know the pretty explosion amusing, but having a free AMS > pretty explosion.

Gawd. Are u ppl really that angry if someone accidentaly shoots you? If i got shot when i opened up a door i wouldnt care. now if i shot someone and he shoots me back id jsut say sorry and see if he had med stuff. If not THEN blast him.

Neh, I said sorry before he shot me back. I don't shoot people for accidentally shooting me but I will send them to the spawns without hesitation if I think they did it on purpose (which the guy in my story obviously did). Even if I wanted to sit there and have a conversation to make the guy feel better about getting hit by a friendly a couple of times, there was no time for that foolishness in the middle of a hostile base.

Ummmm, personally, I would also rather have a free AMS. If you see someone trying to hack it, stop firing at it and inform others not to either.


I think that he assumed you knew he was trying to take it and would automatically stop shooting.

Kinda same story wit me, just alittle oposite. I was shot down k? But the v pad like would acept airvehic, so i was pissed. But the guy that shot me down landed, i was like sweet. So i ran up the stairs to the airpad and started haxing. I notic that the pilot died by a MAX just walkin up the stairs so i'm like sweet this is easy. Then the max comes out the door and starts shooting the reaver and blows it up killing me.

*shrug* I don't get why people get so worked up over most things either.

Especially when they put themselves in a bad spot to begin with. Like being at a huge battle and running down the middle of the road (with poor visibility) and getting run over. Or spawning from an AMS setup on a bridge (!!!) with many friendly vehicle's passing by. Or running infront of 30 people spawn camping....

Well you get my point. Some people get angry for their bad mistakes.

However, getting TK'd for you ANT, or the hack is total B.S.!

Back to the first post ... if that dude gave a /l saying he was hacking then you blew it up on him, I think he's probably safe in his rant. It's far less "n00b" to try and hack an AMS instead of just blowing it up - assuming 3 enemies weren't spawning at it every second or something.

My favorite thing to do is to hack AMS's and about half the time i just deconstruct the AMS instead of leaving it open. I really don't get pissed when people blow it up while i am hacking...it's just part of the risk of hacking AMS's.

Sometimes you want to blow up the AMS instead of hacking it. Here are a few reasons i can think of:

1) It's in a bad spot and will only result in the endless slaughter of your teammates comming out.

2) There are already bunch of badguys swarming around it... you know the hacker won't be successful... by giving the hacker time you will probably die too.

3) The AMS is in a bad position and will just mess-over anyone spawning there.

4) You know there are better placed AMS's around... this one will just screw up the spawn placement of your friends.

5) You are just in a destructive mood.

Yeah I got into it with some guy a few nights ago. It was at a Base on Forseal. There's a big boulder outside that, while it's kind of a pain to get up on, makes a perfect spot for my Sparrow MAX.

So I'm up there waiting for a foolish reaver to come try to get a few easy kills and some guy comes up to join me. No problem the rock is big enough for the both of us (and the snipers will probably opt to shoot him first ).

So of of a sudden he starts dry humping me and eventually pushes me off the rock. I sned him a "?" and get no response. Ok cool whatever it's not that hard to get back up.

So I get back up and all of a sudden he jumps off taking about 1/8 of his hps in damage. He runs up on the rock and jumps off again and again and again. Now at this point he's at about 1/5 of his health remaining and coming back up for another jump I figure he's going the suicide route (/mourn /suicide). Well seeing as how my gun kills him a lot faster than falling 15 feet over and over and over I helped him...a little.

I send him a tell asking if that helped and get back a "f*ck u" and yes he actually inserted the "*" in there for some reason. The he sends me tells about how he's coming to kill me and I have no back up and my family will all burn in hell for eternity or something but seeing as how the TR airforce had finally decided to show up I kinda lost track of his ranting

It makes me shrug in bewildrement when I hear all these senseless TK stories. You know, if we spent more time killing the ENEMY, instead of taking these things to the extreme, then maybe we as each team would work better. I mean, let's stay focused here. The objective is to kill the enemy troops right? Seems like some of us spend half that time bickering. Let it go guys, it's not worth it. (This isn't addressed at anyone in particular in this thread, just an observation).
