I have a question regarding clarificatino of where deployable turrets may be placed.
rogue13ps answered a couple of questions regarding this, but two of the answers seem to condradict each other:

Question: "Are AMS the only objects that are deployable outside your sphere of influence?"
Answer: "nope. you can put out small turrents and mines and motion sensors."

"this is also deployable turrets that you can put out anywhere outside the base and within that base's sphere of influence."

In one of the threads, it is stated that the deployable turrets must be within the sphere of influence of a base. In the other thread, the answer is that turrets (as well as mines and motion sensors) may be deployed outside the sphere of influence.

Was just wondering if I can get a clarification as to which is correct.

And the answer is???????????????????????

No guns on the AMS. You have to protect it manually if you don't want it to be destroyed. We're not big on auto-defenses here. Too boring. It's more fun to rely on human defenders.

This needs clarification. We knew there weren't guns on the AMS. What we didn't know is whether turrets and sensors can be placed around it. Maybe the AMS carries its own tiny sphere of influence, since you can respawn there, afterall. But then what would happen to the turrets if the AMS drives off? Or can they really be deployed outside a sphere?

NM, it was clarified in the official thread. No sphere for the AMS, no deployables around it.

What about mines? I know that you can only put motion snesors and turrets inside of your SOI, but can you put mines outside?
