Cable TV costs

I recently decided to get cable modem back on, and while I was at it I went ahead and ordered cable tv as well.

Being I didnt give a f$^% about the cost, I told them I wanted EVERYTHING. All the channels. So I am paying 110$ a month for everything on TV and cable modem included.


Is that high or low compared to your area??

I have every stars/encore/hob/max/sho/TMC and everything in between minus the spice channels, who needs that shit when you got internet.

Its not Direct TV I do the Charter Cable.

Anyways just curious if thats a good deal for it ALL plus Broadband.

It does own and to me its worth the bill every month. Now instead of trying to find one thing on that I WANT to watch, I have to choose between several things I want to watch. Its great.

When I had cable modem a year ago it was 45$ a month. Now its only 20$. So I am paying 90$ for all cable channels.

Exactly, theres atleast 4 good movies on at any given time, and atleast 6-10 TV shows that are awesome. It kills me to have to choose

if it was me just comin over to watch, i would be at your toes. if it was my money........thats a ripoff. u only like need 2 good movie channels.........keep HBO, loose ciminmax or watever it is. if cable modem......loose some channels, if all channels, fuck the modem.

That's very good. I too have charter digital cable, and it is very nice. What state are you in, and how does their internet service fair compared to dsl?

I live in Nevada Nav.

I have never had DSL, but its only 20$ a month for 256k connect cable modem, but when I clock it I am usually at around 700k.

As far as the movie channels, only having 2 ?!?!?! AH HELL NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dude I am done with HOPING something is on I want to watch. Now I have to CHOOSE what I WANT to watch MORE!

lol I pay 45$ canadian per month for satellite tv and I get 1000+ channels inculding all of those plus alot more
