This is a *true* deal, it's just CD's in a jewel case, you pay shipping (~$6). My only question is, is this game fun? I'm more than willing to pay 6 bucks for a game if it's good. Please, let me know what you guys think about it. (this isn't a scam...) *edit* they just sold out.. darn...lol *edit*

I love that game. people say just cause its not MMO it sucks. The story is....lacking i admit. but exploring the semi-large world and making your own buildings and even new towns is so much fun.
The editor is easy, it would only take you a few hours to learn to build houses and crap if your not "editor experienced" and if you are even less time. i give it a 9 out of 10.

I'll cuss a bit:
Morrowind is absolutely fucking awesome! That bitch gives you a huge-ass world, a crapload of quests, a half-decent combat system (a bit like a shooter), and more! I remember when I first got it. I got Tribunal and I'm getting Bloodmoon immediately after my comp is fixed.

If you want a story the RUN ....away from this game. If you like to explore then RUN to it. In simple terms Morrowind = huge world, tons of sidequests (most are very similiar) and tons of backstory with little actual storyline.
A bud and me were actually talking about it just a few days ago and more or less (translated duh ) this is what we said :

I am Currently playing morrowind and the 2 expansion packs. I must say, that the immersion factor is very high, and you wont want to stop playing... Ever! The massive amounts of items, and books that you can read is astonishing. But reading books, not only gies you knowledge of the game, but certain ones raise some of your skills. Even if you think you wont like it, try it, and you probably will love it.

Morrowind was the first game I ever returned to EB... For starters I am a huge MMRPG fan, but what killed me was the insanely slow pace of everything in Morrowind... Your walk speed is very comparable to Planetside's crouching-walk speed, with a world 10 times larger then Planetside's it takes hours upon hours of walking to do ANYTHING! I hear there is now a hack that you can use to make yourself walk much faster, but that was not out when I got the game, and I do not like the idea of using a hack anyways...
Maybe I was missing something that everyone else here loved about the game, but it was the first and only second game I have ever returned. Squick |

Morrowind is the most fun I've had on a computer ever
The big thing is get it for PC not x-box, then go onto the sites and get kewl add ons Great fun, hours of enjoyment... you don't like the walk speed, then increase your athletics and run everywhere, or do what I do and fly Worth it,

Yeah, just run around and speak to trainers, they'll raise your athletics for you. I find it fun just to explore the countryside and see what I can find.
By the way, here's a guide to some initial stuff: If you're going to be a warrior, you should use the Redguard and create a custom class with the stuff you'll probably be using. When you get off the ship and pick your race (pick carefully, different ones have different abilities) you'll be led inside. Talk to that bearded guy in front of you, he takes you through your registry, your sign, class, that kind of stuff. The sign is a freebie bonus. Most newbies on the first char pick the Lady, just some nice bonuses. I suggest you take the Atronach, the stunted Magicka doesn't hurt you because you're not a mage, and you'll absorb half of the spells that are thrown at you and take no damage! This puts spellcasters in a very bad situation when they fight you, this is a good thing. Stunted Magicka causes your magicka (mana) not to regenerate when you sleep as it would for a normal character. But you are a fighter, not a mage, you won't be using spells very much. But I suggest you get a Summon Ancestral Ghost spell when you can, it's available at the Balmora Mages Guild. Now you leave that room and walk on, CLOSE THE DOOR BEHIND YOU! This leaves this entire room you just entered ripe to be stolen, take EVERYTHING, even the little ingredients for alchemy, it's just a bit more money. Now, if you've cleared out that room and the broom closet downstairs, you're ready to go outside. Get that ring from the barrel and proceed inside this other building. Inside, go to your inventory and drop everything, do this by clicking an item and moving it to the world. If a little arrow appears by your curser, click and it will drop. Drop everything but your clothes and your registry info. Now go behind that guy and look on the shelf, you should see a key in the corner. Access your inventory. From your inventory, pick it up and drop it. Now leave your inventroy, that guy will say "you can't escape, thief" or something like that, and you'll get a dialoge box, warning you. Don't worry, nothing happened to you, the key and your stolen items are still where you dropped them. Now talk to this guy and he'll give you your first mission. When you're done, pick up all of your stuff and walk out of the building. Congrats! You just stole like a thousand gold in stuff if you sell it at Arrille's tradehouse. The key is for that door across from you, the warehouse. In the warehouse, you find some pretty good stuff. Some armor, drugs that you can sell in Balmora, and more. But make sure the guard is upstairs with that one woman. If he's up there, go up to him and look at him for a couple seconds, he'll greet you and stand there for about two minutes. This is your chance, run back to the crates, steal everything in them and get the hell out. He'll be up there, oblivious to the fact that you probably just stole another thousand gold worth of stuff and your first armor. Sell what you don't need, you'll have to drop the Moon Sugar before talking to Arrille at the tradehouse, as the Sugar is an illegal drug. You can sell it in Balmora, don't worry. You've got all of your stuff, a good chunk of change, you're ready to set out to Balmora. Don't worry, you won't be going through the swamp. Look around, you'll find this big thing that looks like a tick, it's very hard to miss, as it's larger than a building. On the boardwalk up there is a Dark elf man or woman, can't remember which. Talk to them and you can fast travel to Balmora. It costs about 10 gold, but you're rich, remember? Now you're in Balmora, it may be night or evening, doesn't matter. head to the south wall cornerclub, it's on the other side of town, just go across the little river. Now is a good time to tell you that you should go into your options and reduce your view range to minimum. You can still see just fine, and your game will run much faster. Okay, in the club you can talk to people and ask about this Cosades guy and you'll get directions to his house. Go there and talk to him. I hope he doesn't annoy you, as he is your guide for the early parts of the main quest. He'll tell you to join the fighter or mage's guilds. That club you were in houses the thief guild. Your first fighter's guild quest is obscenely easy. The most trouble you'll have is finding the house, if you know how to use your weapon, there's virtually no way you can lose. You might take a bit of damage, that's why you have that armor, remember? As a rule you'll want to keep your armor in the best possible condition at all times, so at the guild remember to buy a few repair hammers. That armor will take a lot of damage where you're at now, but as with all RPGs, you should be constantly striving to get better gear. Medium armor sucks, don't get it. Your steel armor is pretty good heavy armor, and some chitin isn't bad light armor. The best heavy armor is Daedric, you won't get that for a LONG time. The best light armor is Glass. It's elven glass, don't worry. It has decent enchantment value and it's nice and fast.

All in all I liked Morrowind but after having a level 50ish character out in Daggerfall it was kind of tedious. Of course that's why I recreated my character from Daggerfall, but romping around slaughtering towns gets old after awhile and, as people have mentioned, the main plot line isn't exactly gripping

Or, hell, instead of the editor, you could just cheat. Put in this EXACTLY:
player-> setathletics "100" Yes, even that player part, put player, not your char's name. This sets your athletics to 100. You can do this with all of your stats. To add items put in: player-> additem "(item ID here)" 1 The 1 is the quantity. The ID is pretty simple, weapons are usually just the name, like Steel Longsword, but armor is a bit tougher, as they had more than one guy doing armor ID naming. It's normally something like Glass_Cuirass, glass_pauldron_right, but it sometimes there's no underscores or whatnot. Weapons won't have underscores 99% of the time, armor almost always have underscores. If you can't find it, just check the editor, that lists all of the IDs. And god mode is fairly simple, just put in tgm in the console. -Ducky, Bad Ass cheater. Seriously, I cheat in a lot of games and I love cheating.
