The reason for fighting.

Ok, now that the game has been out for a while. I have a question for every one. Even though this is just a game, Are ppl choseing sides because of the cuase, (Freedom, Control, and what ever the VS are fighting for) or are ppl choseing sides for weaponry? And if why do you chose weaponry or cuase? Even though it is a game, you have to admit, alot ppl take it seriosly. I mean, some of the men that I fight along side fight for the cause. I mean, do you ppl beleive in the saying "Any weapon can destroy a man, but not even the strongest weapom can destroy the cause he belives in, for that cuase will live om, even though he won't."? So huge outfit leader told us that saying once before we went onto battle, and I just want to see what the men and wemen of PS think.

People that stay stuff like that are just getting into the game a little too much. I've chose the Terran Republic becouse of their weapons, at first it was just their colors. But that was before the weapons. The Devs haven't really led into any History about the factions except for how they got here. No ruined cities, no artifacts, no urban colonies. I just play for the vehicles and weapons that I like.

Edit: Another thing, since I've joined the Digital Marines, I would NEVER leave the TR.

I just joined the NC just because i thought they had the coolest armor types and stuff, because i guess all of the weapons are (or meant to be) balanced.

i joined for the cause, well, really, i joined to fight along side the 1st Armored Division, who later merged with the Black Hawks, i fight along side them, and because of them id never leave the NC. well that and my Br 17 Cr 3 char....

I have joined all three because I want to try out all of them. This is just a game here and we're not really fighting for a real cuase. And the second thing is that we don't know enough facts as wether the tr had a good empire going where everyone was treated equally and we don't know exactly what the vanu are doing with this technology. So we have no clue which side is good and which one is evil. I always like to join the good guys and since I have no clue who they are I joined all three, and not because I like to switch when they make a nerf/upgrade (I've said this to much, I'll makle it my sig). I would tell people to join an empire that has a good outfit and an empire that has the best weapons and vechicles suitied for them.

i joined nc at the very beginning for the cause, but i got to like lvl 4 and found that i hate their weapons, so i went to tr cuz i like the cycler, mini chain gun, but most of all the max's

We need a new Empire. Maybe like something maybe well something. How about Water Creatures.

They could put the vanu it... probably greatly over power all other empires though. Adding another empire would add alot of balence issues and more graffic modleing and skinning. I don't think we'll see another empire and if we do it would most likly be in an exspansion.

but if we add vanu the VS will go with them or all empires will have to form toghter to kill the vanu.

Maybe the Vanu S could go into a civil war. Like Vanu human and Vana (full). The whole thing could have happen becuase more people wanted to have vanu mixed with human but Vana full want Full Vana stuff and wanted to look for Vana.
Will something like that.

Idea: How about Vana S were testing something and then a huge bomb went off the thing they were test caused 60% of the Vanu to go Fully Vanu. and there a civil war.
