Real life Agile Exo-suit!

In coming years, the United Statres military will develope a new uniform for its soldiers. This uniform will feature climate control, radio uplinks, built in GPS units, and will be able to heal minor wounds. The coolest thing about this suit is that it can change its color to the general color of the surrounding environment. The visor on the full-faced helmet will project thermal imaging and night vision. It will moniter the health status of the soldier wearing it and will transmit data to a central control facility. It will be bullet proof all over the body. I think it'll be able to resist rifle rounds, too.
The point of this thread? The suit looks just like the Agile Exo-Suit.
And I thought Id share the info with all you other Planetside guys (and girls).

Naturally, it will only be for the elite of the elites, since this kind of armor will be very, very expensive.

But as technology advances and all that equipment become easier and cheaper to make and lighter, it will eventually become the standard uniform for the military.

acctualy, ever heard of the landwarrior system? its basicaly what hes talking about, but its like the pre alpha version of that. its pretty cool

well, right now, the land warrior has some of those abilitis, but all the stuff, like nightvision, is mounted on the scope of the rifle, and i dont think its armored at all, and it only has a 24 hour battery time, and if you aim it around the corner, you can see whats there because of the lil screen that goes infront of one of your eyes, and it has GPS on it, showing where you are, and umm, its 50 pounds, and thats all i remember

well, really, if they get shot in the torso it dosent matter, the system is dead, since part of the system is based in the front of the body, but i guess it would save their lives

I have a big problem with the use of nano-tech to use in our military. If the government becomes evil on us, the the military will be completely unstoppable. This is bad, people should at least have some small chance of defeating their own military if the whole populace joins in.
