Everyone post what sports you play/possition you play (if applicable) and feel free to chat it up about it. (Just kinda curious)
I play football, center and noseguard (yeah, the big guy positions) and man am I tired. Practice is a bitch, but kinda fun.

In 7th grade I played middle linebacker and 8th grade I played center but now I'm a sophmore and play nothing. You see in middle school I lived in idiana, nothern indiana and it was about 80 in the summer. Then I move to las vegas and its 120+!!!! So I don't play football anymore.

seriously guys! one) its called FOOTBALL - you kick the goddamn ball. Your [american] football should be called 'Hand but occaisionally foot' ball. two) those positions are not the right names. Theres the goalkeeper, there is the left, right and centre back, theres the left, right and centre midfield, theres the right, left and centre forwards, theres sweepers which go just behind the defence [just one person], there are wingers which play just6 in front of the left and right mid's. obviously these people don't ALL play at the same time, but trust me, i know what i'm talking about. I come from england, we MADE the damn sport. oh, and i play centre back. and in rugby i play Prop. |

Their names for their positions were correct. Were are in America and those terms are correct in America. In fact, most international student soccer players I have met use the same terminology that we use.
Midfield and fullback are correct terms for soccer positions. BTW, if you play center fullback, but your team plays with a sweeper, and you are not the sweeper, we would call your position the stopper. BTW American football > soccer as far as following the sport or watching the games. As far as rugby, I have no clue how you play that game.
