Hey BIG noob question there but since I am a newbie then i'm safe to ask it
Well then - how do you fly and successfully bomb/shoot down targets? As I bought the Reaver a couple of days ago I have just used it to escort squads and take out wall turrets and so forth, mostly defensive purposes. I'm sure there's a more effective way to use it, and i'm pretty sure there's a lot of experienced pilots out there So how do you guys use your reaver? |

I myself use the mosquito, but ill try to answer anyway...
Most reaver pilots that I see "Dive bomb" their targets, they swoop in for high up, start shooting their rockets early(of course leading their target) Once they unload their whole rocket pod thing hit the afterburners and make ready for another run. If its an AMS or some other vehicle that cant shoot back and doesnt have an escort(and also has a lot of armor) I would slow down and keep shooting it until its dead. Also never shoot rockets at another air target unles is a galaxy, or a mosquito pilot who is afk. Im pretty sure those should all work, but like I said im not a reaver pilot...good luck Slugz laterz ~LiLKiLLeR |

Get used to flying in the trees, because they too can break Striker/Starfire locks. Reserve at least 3/4 of you afterburner for evasive measures. Find a few wingmen and coordinate attacks on anything on the ground, and especially targets in the air. Adjust your speed constantly - going full blast will sometimes make you overshoot your target (especially in the air).
Those are a few things that I can think of that will make flying more enjoyable. |

First, I fly around looking for stuff to shoot.
If I find another reaver, I try to attack and then get outmaneuvered and shot down. If I see a ground vehicle, I futilely miss with most of my missiles, and after I am almost dead, I hit the afterburners and put my nose into it, killing us both. That's pretty much how you deal with it when you suck at flying. |
