It's on the test server for everyone to check out.
Here's how it works: 1) A squad leader types /pinvite and the name of another squad leader. This is a platoon invite. 2) the second squad leader accepts and a platoon is formed. This works the same way for a third squad, but only the platoon leader (the squad leader that did the initial invite) can invite the third squad. Within the platoon, squad #1 is yellow just like a standard squad. Squad #2 is purplr, and squad #3 is orange. Now these are the default colors which can be changed out of game by editing the user.ini file. When a platoon is formed, a new channel /p is also created. Text in this channel is a shit brown, but this can also be changed. Each squad leader can place 4 waypoints which are visible to everyone in the platoon. They are color coded to the squad which created them. All the platoons members name cram accross the top of the screen which I hope they will be changing. Promotion within the platoon work just like our current squads. |

Also note you can do /pl to talk to the squad leaders privately. Very handy for specific orders
[Squad Leaders] Ph33rthereaper: Bob, get one of your guys to go do an ANT run [Squad Leaders] Bob: Yes sir! Then you can just call enemy positions on the normal platoon channel.
