Space storm coming to Earth

CFCN.ca

POSTED AT 5:48 PM Thursday, October 23

Scientists are warning about a strong geo-magnetic storm expected to hit the Earth tomorrow.

Forecasters say the storm has the potential to affect everything from cell phones and power grids to other satellite communications.

The disturbance is rated a G-3 storm. The highest is G-5.

NASA scientists are calling it the perfect space storm.

A largest cluster of sunspots caused an explosion on the sun, sending a massive amount of gas and charged particles into space towards Earth.

Scientist say they expect it to be the worst solar flareup to be felt on Earth since a storm in 1859. That storm caused telegraph wires to short out across North America and Europe.

Meh, blown out of proportion as always. There are more people out there that don't know the slightest thing about the universe and what happens in it, hence it's an easy subject to scare people with. Like asteroids on collision courses that will impact in 2 or 3 years.

Everyone knows we've still got about 10 years before the asteroid "Tatillus" or..something like that...forgot it's name, started with a T though :x impacts earth.

MUAHAHAHAHAHA

In actuality though, there really is an asteroid with a similar name above that is on a collision course with earth and is estimated to hit late September of 2012 or something like that. It's rather creepy because a long time ago a prophet prophesied that earth's end would be brought about by something "bigger than a mountain, rolling end over end, destroying civilization." It's creepy because this asteroid that is supposedly going to hit in 2012 fits that description way too well. It looks like a peanut, has an irregular rotation that fits the description of "roling end over end" and is most definitely larger than a mountain.

I'll try and find the name of it and post it here when I do so you can do your own research if you don't believe me.

So were the asteroids that we supposed to hit in 1982, 1993, and 1998......... Those are just random dates, but I've read in one book or website, that there were several false alarms over the century.

With an asteroid that size, it wouldn't matter really...It'd probably be able to crater a good portion of a continent and cause an extrememly long winter due to all the dust it throws into the atmosphere. Kinda like how the dinosaurs died out. They found a giant crater somewhere near the gulf of mexico that they believe was caused by an asteroid massive enough to produce the above effects. Perhaps thats what formed the gulf of mexico in the first place?

KaiKou, If you take the Gulf of Mexico, go to the South East Portion, on the Western side of the Cacun Penninula, thats corner, is where the asteroid hit.

BTW Most liekly all that will happen is the Northern lights will flow south, Cell phones will be messed up, and thats about it tomorrow.
