The Marlins won, so there must be a parade.
A LOT of people are going to go, even some teachers. The school has stipulated that they are NOT to skip school. A compromise was attempted in that anyone wearing a Marlins shirt was exempt from uniform (picked one up at the local Publix, but the bastards are selling them for $13 each). However, this has done nothing. I know for a fact that my US History teacher, a Cuban who went to New York and a big Yankees fan won't go. I also know that four, yes FOUR, (4), cuatro, X X X X, four of us plan to be here for Theology tomorrow. And I think that the teacher isn't one of them. I won't be going. I was born in De-troit. Go Tigers! 43 wins, 119 losses! They'll come around...maybe...

The gun kata treats the gun as a total weapon, each fluid position representing a maximum kill zone, inflicting maximum damage on the maximum number of opponents while keeping the defender clear of the statistically traditional trajectories of return fire. By the rote mastery of this art, your firing efficiency will rise by no less than 120%. The difference of a 63% increase to lethal proficiency makes the master of the gun katas an adversary not to be taken lightly. |

Ever tried orginizing a school wide skip day? Its alot of work, and you normally get pinched while everyone else gets off, but its fun as hell to essentially shut down the school. Then again its easier to do at my school, cause its smaller...

Four students in 5th period is kinda sucky. Go Tigers! Go Lions! Go Red Wings! Go Pistons! One day, you'll get to the championship! Maybe...

I'd post the school site, but it would start a sucky anti-religion thread due to lots of spiritualty and Jesuit references. And they don't have uniform pics anyway, just people in the old uniforms. As from the Student Handbook (corrected, they haven't updated the book, and tildes added to separate sections): ~Daily Uniform~ Pants: Navy - relaxed fit (school name written on back) Shirt: White Oxford with logo on left pocket (long or short sleeve) Tie: Blue and gold striped Socks: Solid white, black, or navy blue. No ankle socks. Shoes: Cordovan or Burgundy (no black)- PENNY LOAFERS AND LACED STYLE SHOE APPROVED BY SCHOOL ONLY AKA there is one brand and one model availible. Belt: Solid brown or black leather. ~Special Dress Uniform~ Blazer: Navy blue, 2-button blazer or sport coat with school crest. No double breasted Pants: Iron-free khaki with school logo Rest is the same. You still bring tie, approved shoes, etc. They ran out of shirts and ties. They only ran through one company, AA Unforms, and they underordered. The old tie, navy blue and burgundy striped, is still approved.

I have to retire, I'll fill you on the 3% attendance tomorrow. That is, if they don't give up and send everyone home.
